my signature to a Quit
Claim Deed of not more
than one half acre of land
as the majority may agree
upon ___
          on the "Hill" excepted {this line inserted}
                to any, and every
heir of the immediate fam-
ily of the late Enoch B.
Stanley, providing said Deed
of land is for the express
purpose of a house lot,
and I shall accept no com-
pensation for the same.
Should I die, or from any
cause become incompetent

I request that my heirs or
assigns shall do so for me.
And should a guardian
be appointed for Charles E.
Richardson previous to
Jan. 15th 1906, I promise,
with his guardian's con-
sent, to affix my signature
to said Deed as soon as said
guardian can be legally
appointed.
