OSCAR O. KRANTZ

MANSET -- Oscar O. Krantz,
79, died Monday evening at a
Bar Harbor hospital after a
brief illness.

He was born in Copenhagen,
Denmark, Sept. 30, 1888, the
son of John and Hulda (Erick-
son) Krantz.

He attended Manset Union
Church.

He is survived by one son,
Emery Krabtz and one grand-
daughter, Miss Frances Krabtz,
both of Manset; several cousins.

Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Fer-
nald Funeral Chapel in Mt.
Desert with Rev. Bradford
Payne officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Heights
Cemetery in Southwest Harbor.

Friends may call at the fu-
neral chapel Wednesday from
7 to 8 p.m.
