ROYAL [TINKER] COLBY
Royal (Tinker) Colby, 44, of
Cranberry Isles, died at a
Mount Desert Island hospital
May 25, 1977.

He was born at Bucksport
Oct. 30, 1932, son of Earl and
Elsie (McIntyre) Colby.

He was a member of the
Tremont Masonic Lodge and
Cranberry Island Cogrega-
tional Church.

Tinker is survived by his
wife, Gale; two sons, Lyndon
and Blair; three daughters,
Mrs. Eileen McCafferty,
Rhonda and Renona, all of
Cranberry Isles; three
brothers, Harold of South
Carolina, William of South
Portland, and Stanley of Bar
Harbor; one sister, Mrs.
Philip Frederick of South Port-
land; and two grandchildren.

Private family services will
be held at a later date. If
friends desire they may make
contributions in Tinker's
memory to the Cranberry
Island Fire Department.
Arrangements are by Fernald
Funeral Chapel, Mount
Desert.
