Two fifths of the sale of the meeting House was paid to
my son Wm. H. Preble.
During all these years I sold produce from my
place each year, Hay, wood, potatoes vegetables.
I also received more or less from doing business
for the town and as a Notary Public & Justice of the
Peace. I kept a cow and pig yearly from which
I sold pork and veal yearly - also butter & milk.

I had yearly from seventy five to one hundred
hens from which I sold poultry and eggs yearly.
I used to sell Cranberries from 10 to 20 bushels yearly.
I raised apples yearly to sell.--also crabapples.
I raised large quantities of berries- such as blue-
berries, strawberries, raspberries, and highland
cranberries. also huckleberries & blackberries.
