RACHEL FIELD and HITTY

Big Hitty was delivered by ferry to the GCI town dock on 23 Sept. 2005.

Bruce unboxed her at Wini's house.  (Town dock in background.)

She was covered in bubblewrap, like a mummy.

Bruce and Wini freed her from the wrappings.

She looks a little chilly.

Wini dressed her, and Bruce brought her outside for some sun.

She seemed puzzled when we took her outside...

...until Wini reassured her.

Then she rested after her long trip.
