Cranberry Isles
Thomas M. Stanley, Cranberry Isles' oldest citizen, died on Christmas day, after an illness of a year, aged eighty-six years. He leaves a widow, two children by a former wife -- Mrs. Willis E. Bunker and Mrs. George Jordan -- nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters -- Mrs. Lucinda G. Stanley and Mrs. Dellie A. Harding, and one brother -- Hiram J. Stanley. The funeral was held Saturday at the meeting-house, being largely attended. Interment was at the Preble cemetery.
